EMS Energy gets further extension to announce Q1, Q2 and Q3 results
CATALIST-LISTED EMS Energy has been granted further time extension by the Singapore Exchange to announce its results.
It has been given a one-month extension till Nov 15 this year to announce its first-quarter results, and till Dec 15 this year to announce its second-quarter results.
It has a two-month extension till Jan 15 next year to announce its third-quarter results.
The firm had made the application due to high staff turnover in the finance team between August and September this year, with only three out of six members remaining in the team.
These finance resources have also been expended to prepare for a few events: the annual report for the annual general meeting to be held by Oct 31; the scheme papers for a creditors' meeting in relation to a revised proposed scheme of arrangement on Sept 29; and proposed creditor's voluntary liquidation of Koastal Industries Pte Ltd.
Therefore, the firm said that it would require more time to announce its first and second-quarter results. Preparation for the third-quarter results can only begin after the second-quarter results have been finalised and released.
