Eurozone turmoil hits Qian Hu's Q2 bottom line

THE political turmoil in the eurozone stemming from the Greek financial crisis has taken its toll on Qian Hu Corporation, with the ornamental fish group posting a 45.5 per cent year-on-year fall in net profit to S$12,000 for the second quarter.
The plunge in earnings came as ornamental fish sales dropped 15.4 per cent to S$7.8 million, contributing to a 5 per cent slide in revenue to S$20.03 million for the three months ended June 30.
