THE Securities Investors Association (Singapore) launched on Monday the 6th Singapore Corporate Governance Week 2015 that will run from Oct 12 to Oct 16. Organised by SIAS, Corporate Governance Week is endorsed and supported by The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (Acra) and the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) as supporting organisations, as well as the Singapore Exchange as the supporting exchange.
A key feature of the week-long programme is the Statement of Support by corporates to uphold and advance good corporate governance standards. This statement, which will be published in The Business Times, reads:
