External auditor expresses doubt about Perisai's viability
Kuala Lumpur
AN external auditor of listed oilfield services provider Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd - an associate company of insolvent Ezra Holdings Ltd - has expressed doubts about its viability as a going concern even as the company's board of directors maintains it can be salvaged.
In a filing to the Malaysian stock exchange on Wednesday, Perisai's board of directors revealed Baker Tilly AC had issued a statement of "material uncertainty related to going concern" on Perisai's audited financial statement for the year to end-June 2017.
