EZRA Holdings CEO and managing director Lionel Lee acquired one million shares for S$60,200 on Thursday, shoring up his direct stake by 0.034 percentage point to 19.162 per cent.
Including his deemed stake in Ezra through fully owned investment firm Jit Sun Investments Pte Ltd, Mr Lee's total effective interest in Ezra is shored up to 22.827 per cent.
This followed the forced-sale of 11.5 million Ezra shares held by Mr Lee's Jit Sun Investments on Jan 12 after a plunge in share price caused certain covenants of a banking facility to be breached and prompted the bank to dispose of the shares. These shares were pledged for a loan facility for a company unrelated to Ezra.
