Ezra Holdings Q3 loss balloons to US$243m

EZRA Holdings widened its Q3 net loss to US$242.87 million from US$3.01 million a year ago, dragged down by lower revenue and a one-time non-cash loss of the sale of interests in its subsea unit.
Loss from its continuing operations from profit or loss contributions of its two subsidiaries, Emas Offshore Ltd and Triyards, was US$235.06 million compared to US$3.36 million a year ago.
Loss from discontinued operations of its subsea business unit was US$7.81 million, a reversal from a profit of US$347,000 a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter fell 10 per cent to US$125.73 million.
Nine-month net loss was US$548.15 million compared to US$51.54 million last year.
