Fair value gains give Goodland FY14 boost

RESIDENTIAL developer Goodland Group said on Friday that fair-value gains pushed full-year net profit up by 24 per cent despite revenue dropping by a third.
Net profit for the year ended Sept 30 rose to S$21.1 million, or 10.84 Singapore cents per share, even though revenue fell 32 per cent to S$25.3 million, the company announced on Friday after the market closed.
