Flat movements in shortened week
DIRECTOR activity was flat during the holiday-shortened week of July 29 to Aug 1 with five companies recording 11 purchases worth S$2.6 million versus three firms with eight disposals worth S$5.8 million. The number of companies and trades on the buying side were down from the previous week's eight firms and 21 purchases. The buy value, however, was sharply up from the previous week's acquisitions worth S$1.57 million. On the selling side, the number of companies and trades were not far off from the previous week's four firms and nine disposals. But the sell value was sharply up from the previous week's S$630,000.
The bulk of the significant trades last week were purchases with insider buys in Singapore Windsor Holdings and substantial shareholder acquisitions in Innovalues Ltd, ISDN Holdings, Civmec Ltd, Eurosports Global, Swee Hong Ltd and Global Logistic Properties.
