Global ETF market to almost double by 2020: PwC survey

INDUSTRY professionals mostly expect the global exchange traded fund (ETF) market to almost double to about US$5 trillion by 2020, according to a PwC survey.
Asia is expected to contribute significantly to that growth, although poor distribution and a lack of innovation could be hurdles to the region's uptake of ETFs, the consulting firm said.
