Increased likelihood of La Nina positive for palm oil producers, it says

THE increasing likelihood of the La Nina weather phenomenon occurring will be a blessing for palm oil producers, said Golden Agri-Resources.
The world's second largest palm oil producer also said that while it is expecting year-on-year growth in its fresh fruit brunches (FFB) production to taper off in the fourth quarter due to a high base effect last year, its overall FFB production is still expected to grow by 10-15 per cent this year, and up to 10 per cent in 2018.
