TOTAL syndicated loans in the Asia-Pacific excluding Japan in the first half of this year fell 15 per cent from a year ago to US$214 billion, dragged mainly by weaker activity out of Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore, Thomson Reuters data showed on Thursday.
This reflected a slowdown in volume, with the number of transactions closed at 608, down from 870 the same period a year ago.
