INSTITUTIONAL investors appear upbeat on the hedge fund industry with expectations that assets under management (AUM) could grow 14.4 per cent this year, according to a recent survey.
If they get it right, this will see the industry's assets vault over US$3 trillion for the first time in history, according to Credit Suisse's seventh annual Hedge Fund Investor Survey.
Investors' expectations for this year are also much higher than last year's forecast of 12 per cent, indicating overall positive sentiment…
