Interplex receives takeover offer of S$450m from Baring Asia

PRECISION engineering firm Interplex, formerly known as Amtek Engineering, has received a takeover offer at S$0.82 a share, valuing the firm at S$450 million.
The offer is 15.5 per cent above the last traded price of S$0.71, and 19.4 per cent above the 12-month volume weighted average price of the firm.
