Jardine Strategic net profit dips on weaker sales
JARDINE Strategic Holdings' full-year net profit has fallen 7 per cent on the back of weaker sales.
The conglomerate said that net profit attributable to shareholders of the company - including US$84 million from non-trading items - came to US$1.7 billion for the 12 months ended Dec 31, 2013. This compared with US$1.83 billion for FY2012, which included US$252 million from non-trading items.
The results translated to earnings per share of US$2.79, against FY2012's US$2.97 per share.
