THE director at the centre of Singapore Post's recently concluded corporate governance special audit has stepped down from its board after 18 years there.
Keith Tay Ah Kee, 72, resigned as non-executive independent director with effect May 12, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Thursday.
He had been in that role since April 25, 1998.
His departure was to facilitate board renewal and an orderly transition on the board and board committees, it said.
It noted that Mr Tay still holds other directorships, including at FJ Benjamin, Rotary Engineering and YTL Starhill Global Reit Management.
