Keppel to build world's first dual-mode desalination plant
To be completed in 2020, the plant will be able to treat both seawater and freshwater

KEPPEL Infrastructure Holdings, a division of Keppel Corporation, is building a dual-mode desalination plant in Marina East - the first of its kind in the world that can treat both seawater and freshwater.
The project is one of three desalination plants being planned that will further enhance Singapore's water resilience as climate change affects weather patterns.
