Keppel T&T Q4 profit falls 93% on lower fair value gain on data centres

KEPPEL Telecommunications & Transportation (Keppel T&T) on Wednesday posted a 93.1 per cent plunge in its net profit for the fourth quarter, and warned of challenging conditions in trade and consumption in Asia while keeping hopes on growth in the data business.
Keppel T&T, which offers supply chain management services to businesses, posted a net profit for the three months ended Dec 31, 2016 of S$3.08 million, compared with S$44.5 million a year ago. This translated to earnings per share of 0.6 Singapore cent, compared with eight Singapore cents in the same period a year ago.
