Keppel T&T reports 11.2% rise in Q2 profit
DATA centre and logistics provider Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation (Keppel T&T) on Tuesday reported an 11.2 per cent rise in second-quarter net profit to S$15.88 million, from S$14.28 million in the year-ago period.
The hike came despite a 4.2 per cent decrease in revenue to S$49.13 million, from S$51.28 million a year ago. Earnings per share (EPS) were up 11.5 per cent to 2.9 Singapore cents from 2.6 Singapore cents.
For the six months ended June 30, 2015, the company reported a net profit of S$31.66 million, up 6.6 per cent from S$29.71 million in same period last year. Revenue declined 2.9 per cent to S$97.06 million, from S$99.99 million.
EPS for the six-month period was up 5.6 per cent at 5.7 Singapore cents from 5.4 Singapore cents last year.
The company did not declare any dividend for Q2 2015.
