Keppel T&T reports 17.1% drop in Q3 profit
Data centre and logistics provider Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation (Keppel T&T) on Tuesday reported a 17.1 per cent drop in net profit to S$15.31 million from S$18.47 million one year-ago, for the 2015 fiscal third quarter which ended on September 30.
This came on the back of a 5.1 per cent drop in revenue to S$50.91 million for the quarter from S$53.65 million one year ago. Earning per share (EPS) for the quarter was down 15.2 per cent to 2.8 Singapore cents from 3.3 Singapore cents, one year ago. The company did not declare any dividend for the period.
For the nine month period, also ending on September 30, net profit was down 2.5 per cent to S$46.97 million from S$48.18 million a year ago. Revenue for the period was down 3.7 per cent to S$147.97 million from S$153.64 million. EPS for the period was down 3.4 per cent to 8.4 Singapore cents from 8.7 cents one year ago. Net asset value per ordinary share was S$1.20 per share, down 5.5 per cent form S$1.27 one year ago.
