Keppel T&T's Q1 profit down 15.6%

KEPPEL Telecommunications and Transportation Ltd's (Keppel T&T) first quarter net profit fell by 15.6 per cent due to, among other things, lower share of results from associated companies and higher taxation. Net profit for the fiscal 2016 first quarter came in at S$13.31 million, down from S$15.78 million recorded one year ago for the period that ended on March 31.
Revenue went up 0.7 per cent to S$48.27 million from S$47.93 million a year ago.
