Key equity markets poised to do better next year: Amundi
Singapore
WITH double-digit European earnings growth on the way, key equity markets around the world are poised to do better next year. Markets will be supported by a low interest rate environment and plenty of central bank liquidity, Romain Boscher, global head of equities for Amundi Asset Management, told The Business Times in an interview yesterday.
Investors, meanwhile, expect the current US debt ceiling crisis to blow over. The effects of any short-term crisis will be mitigated by strong corporate balance sheets and sufficient foreign reserves of emerging markets such as China and Russia, he added.
