Kim Heng shares soar in debut trading
KIM Heng Offshore & Marine made an impressive entrance to the Catalist board yesterday, opening 28 per cent up at 32 cents - its high for the day - and closing at 29.5 cents, 18 per cent above its initial public offering price of 25 cents.
Almost 83 million shares changed hands, placing the stock among the top 10 most actively traded for the day.
The group's executive chairman and CEO Thomas Tan told BT that he was "overwhelmed by the market's support".
