Lereno: Aborted acquisition called off on May 13, not May 16
CASH company Lereno Bio-Chem has clarified that its aborted acquisition of private education group HTwo Education Holdings was called off on May 13, and not May 16, as was originally announced.
The deal was mutually terminated because of expectations that the acquisition could not be completed by the long-stop date of June 28.
Lereno said that it plans to move quickly to enter into a new merger and acquisition deal, and is now looking for new opportunities.
