Loh Boon Chye leaves Bank of America Merrill Lynch
LOH Boon Chye is leaving Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
An internal memo seen by The Business Times said that Mr Loh, who joined the US bank in 2012 as deputy president for Asia-Pacific, head of Asia-Pacific global markets, and country executive for Singapore and South-east Asia, has decided to leave the firm.
Mr Loh told the bank that he plans to take a break before deciding on his next endeavour.
He was a veteran banker with Deutsche Bank before he joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he helped build its global markets franchise across the region, "driving a strategy that has increased our market share and deepened our client penetration", the memo said.
Chris Gammons has been appointed country executive for Singapore and South-east Asia in addition to his existing roles as head of South-east Asia investment banking and Asia-Pacific financial sponsors.
Mr Gammons has spent the past 20 years serving Asian clients in Singapore, South-east Asia and across the region.
