AN industry-dreaded price war has emerged in the mobile data sector - even before the entry of a fourth telco - as M1 and StarHub on Thursday pushed out new data offerings one day after MyRepublic and Singtel unveiled theirs.
M1 added two new plans - mySIM+ 15 and mySIM+ 20 - to its range of postpaid plans that do not bind mobile subscribers to a two-year contract. At S$15 a month, mySIM+ 15 offers one GB of data, 100 minutes of calls and 600 SMS/MMS. At S$20 a month, mySIM+ 20 offers four GB of data, 150 minutes of calls and 800 SMS/MMS.
