M1's Q3 profit up 12.7%
M1 posted a 12.7 per cent increase in net profit at S$44.5 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2014 after the market closed on Thursday.
Operating revenue for the same period stood at S$250.2 million, up 3.5 per cent from the same period a year ago.
For the nine-month period, net profit was up by 9.7 per cent at S$131.2 million, while revenue stood at S$730 million, inching up 0.1 per cent.
Earnings per share for the group stood at 4.8 Singapore cents for the quarter, up from 4.3 Singapore cents a year ago; the figure for the nine-month period was 14.1 Singapore cents, up from 13 Singapore cents during the corresponding period the year before.
