THE value of Singapore's stock market rose for the third month in a row with low-oil beneficiaries and real estate counters leading the way.
The total market capitalisation of Singapore-listed stocks increased by 2.2 per cent to S$978.1 billion on Friday as January ended in positive territory. It was the third month-on-month increase in a row, and represented a 12 per cent year-on-year gain.
Price changes were the main factor during the month, with no new listings so far in 2015.
