Manhattan Resources CFO and audit committee chairman quit
THE chief financial officer (CFO) of mainboard-listed coal shipping firm Manhattan Resources has quit to "pursue other interests" and will also not seek re-election to the board at the company's annual general meeting (AGM), it said in a Singapore Exchange (SGX) filing on Thursday morning.
Choo Hsun Yang, 46, became an executive director in May 2013 and then CFO in July 2013. Before that, he had been on the board as an independent director from July 2011.
His resignation from the executive director and CFO roles will take effect from the day of the AGM, April 29, Manhattan Resources said.
An independent director who is also chairman of the board's audit committee is also going to leave the board on the day of the AGM.
Lim Say Tai, 67, is stepping down due to health reasons, the group said in a separate SGX filing Thursday morning.
It said that Mr Lim will cease to be chairman of the audit committee and member of the nominating committee and remuneration committee.
