Mapletree's Q2 results boosted by higher input from its Business City, VivoCity
Singapore
A FULL-QUARTER contribution from Mapletree Business City I (MBC I), as well as higher contribution from VivoCity, gave a lift to results for landlord Mapletree Commercial Trust (MCT) in its second quarter.
Distribution per unit rose 9.3 per cent to 2.24 Singapore cents from 2.05 Singapore cents in the year-ago period, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Wednesday evening. Property operating expenses were 15.9 per cent higher at S$22.8 million compared to the year ago period largely due to the full quarter effect of MBC I.
