Market value of Singapore stocks up in Sept

SINGAPORE stocks gained some ground in September, with the total value of the market rising by 0.8 per cent to S$866.9 billion from S$860 billion in August.
The September overall market capitalisation remains higher than end-2015's S$856.4 billion. On a year-on-year basis, it is up 4.5 per cent from September 2015's S$829.8 billion.
