Mary Chia will delay AGM; halts trading
MARY Chia Holdings has received an extension of time to hold its annual general meeting between July 30 and Sept 15, 2017 because of delays in completing its annual audit.
The operator of beauty and slimming centres, whose financial year ended on March 31, said that it has just started its external audit after high turnover among its staff led to a delay in the closing of accounts.
The extension was granted by the Singapore Exchange provided that Mary Chia discloses the reasons for seeking the extension, amid other requirements.
Mary Chia halted the trading of its stock on Thursday before the market opened, pending an announcement.
