Maybank Singapore to grow retail SME business

It aims to expand loan portfolio to businesses with revenues of up to S$20m by 40%

Maybank's push into the SME segment is part of a broader group expansion, with South-east Asia's fourth largest bank by assets progressively setting up units to target smaller enterprises in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei.

Maybank has online capabilities to help small-business owners improve their productivity, says Mr Choong.
