Mermaid Maritime's Thai unit clinches US$10m contract
A SUBSIDIARY of Mermaid Maritime has been awarded a contract for subsea ROV (remotely operated vehicle) services in the Gulf of Thailand with a major upstream oil and gas company.
The two-year contract worth about US$10 million, awarded to Mermaid Subsea Services (Thailand), includes an option for one-year extension, the firm said on Wednesday.
The scope of the work includes structure and sea line inspection, free span correction and corrosion prevention in the Gulf of Thailand.
