Natural Cool appoints adviser, chief corporate officer
NATURAL Cool Holdings, the air-conditioning firm that installed a new board recently after a shareholder revolt, said it has appointed two existing directors to take on the roles of adviser and chief corporate officer respectively, in addition to their existing roles.
Independent non-executive chairman Goh Teck Sia will be the company's adviser on law enforcement matters arising from, among other things, an internal investigation review and other commercial security matters of the group.
The nominating committee said he remains independent after considering, among other things, the ad-hoc nature of his responsibilities.
Natural Cool said in February that there could be irregular transactions and activities at some subsidiaries in its paint division.
Executive director Wong Leon Keat has been appointed chief corporate officer. He will be responsible for finance, human resource, investor relations and business development.
Natural Cool last traded at S$0.12.
