New Silkroutes CFO, joint company secretary Lim Koon Hock retires; company appoints new finance director
NEW Silkroutes Group on Monday announced that its chief financial officer and joint company secretary Lim Koon Hock has decided to retire and will relinquish his positions after 13½ years with the company which has businesses in the healthcare and energy sectors.
The company also announced the appointment of Teo Thiam Chuan William as its finance director.
New Silkroutes said Mr Teo will be "responsible for the treasury, finance, audit and strategic planning functions of the group, including but not limited to fundraising for the group, developing and maintaining banking relationships for the group and assisting the chief executive officer and chief operating officer of the group in assessing and structuring corporate finance deals and investments".
New Silkroutes shares ended S$0.005 or 1.7 per cent up at S$0.295 on Monday before the announcement.
