Norwegian Cruise Line Q3 earnings up 33%
EPS at $0.84, up from $0.72 last year, helped by improved ticket pricing
EARNINGS of Genting Hong Kong's Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings rose 33 per cent year-on-year to US$170.9 million for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2013.
Earnings per share (EPS) of the Miami-based cruise line rose to $0.84 for the quarter, from $0.72 a year ago.
"Our results for the quarter are the product of a summer season which was bolstered by the premium pricing from Norwegian Breakaway in her first full quarter of operation," said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian's president and chief executive officer.
