NANYANG Technological University and China's central bank, the People's Bank of China (PBOC), have jointly launched a research centre to study the demand and use of the yuan or renminbi (RMB) in international markets.
The Centre for RMB Internationalisation Studies (CRIS) was launched at the Ritz-Carlton in Beijing on Tuesday morning, NTU announced.
