Offshore services firms fall victims to oil downturn

IN line with falling oil prices, Singapore-listed offshore support services companies have seen a more than one-tenth average fall in total returns for their stocks so far this year, with some of the bigger entities registering a drop of more than half.
In a market update on Wednesday, Singapore Exchange said that the average total return decline was 13.4 per cent for the 32 offshore support services stocks.
