OKP Holdings' Q4 earnings soar 315% (Amended)
ENGINEERING firm OKP Holdings said on Monday its net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2016, soared 314.7 per cent to S$8 million.
The marked rise was buoyed by increases in revenue and share of results in several joint ventures.
Earnings per share rose to 2.6 cents from 0.63 cents in the previous year. For the full year, net profit rose 104.7 per cent to S$14.3 million, or 4.65 cents per share.
Revenue for Q4 increased by 40.6 per cent to S$34.5 million.
A final dividend of $0.007 and special dividend of $0.008 per share for the quarter has been declared, with no change from the previous year.
Amendment: In a previous version of the article, earnings per share of OKP Holdings rose to S$2.60 from S$0.63. This is incorrect. Also, it should be "final dividend of $0.007 and special dividend of $0.008 declared," not "interim dividend of $0.007." The article above has been revised to reflect the correct figures.
