KEPPEL Offshore & Marine (O&M) and Sembcorp Marine (SembMarine) stand to resolve a long overhang over their rig-building order books as news broke of a settlement between Petrobras and Sete Brasil over the drilling charters for more than two dozen rigs.
News reports said that Petrobras had in a securities filing indicated it will continue to lease four rigs from Sete Brasil. "The rig leasing contracts will last for 10 years and are worth US$299,000 a day," Reuters reported, citing the filing.
