GREENPEACE has hit out at pulp and paper group Asia Pacific Resources International Limited (April) again, claiming to have photographic evidence of the firm and one of its suppliers clearing rainforests and peatland.

Some of April's previous customers such as United States-based Staples and France-headquartered Antalis have stopped buying from the group, Greenpeace also said.

This comes as Singapore braces itself for the haze season, though favourable wind conditions mean that the Republic has been unaffected thus far.
