Poh Tiong Choon Logistics Q4 earnings down 4%
LAND cargo transportation company Poh Tiong Choon Logistics' (PTC) earnings rolled downhill for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2016.
It suffered a loss of 4 per cent when profits fell to S$3.72 million from S$3.87 million in the previous year, the company said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Wednesday.
For the three months ended Dec 31, 2016, revenue dropped 16 per cent to S$33.5 million from S$39.7 million the year before.
PTC posted earnings per share of 1.75 Singapore cents, a loss from 1.81 Singapore cents in the previous year.
PTC is one of the largest transport provider in Asia logistics industry providing services relating to land transportation, warehousing, bulk cargo handling, container services, equipment renting, leasing and general contracting.
