Prospects better for O&M firms with int'l exposure

Those able to satisfy local requirements in a better position to grow: OCBC study

OFFSHORE & marine companies in Singapore with strong exposure to key international markets have brighter prospects, especially if they have access to protected markets.

According to OCBC Investment Research, companies that are able to operate in foreign markets by satisfying local requirements should be in a better position to grow over the longer term.

This is because international oil companies are slowing down their capital expenditure (capex) plans, OCBC found in a recent study.
