PTERIS Global, a solutions provider of airport logistics systems, on Monday announced a series of senior management changes on the back of an internal restructuring.

Zheng Zuhua will resign as group chief executive officer and be re-designated from executive director to the non-executive chairman of the board of directors at Pteris Global.

Said Pteris Global: "For the avoidance of doubt, Mr Zheng Zuhua will remain as a member of the nomination & remuneration committee of the company ... there are no other material reasons for the cessation of Mr Zheng Zuhua as the Group Chief Executive Officer of the company."

Mr Zheng, whose responsibilities included overseeing the group's overall strategic direction as well as spearheading the group's expansion plans for China and other regional markets, holds a 7.2 per cent equity interest in Shenzhen TGM Ltd, which holds 63.2 million shares or 19.57 per cent of the company.

Li Yinhui will resign as non-executive chairman and non-executive director of Pteris Global. Dr Li led the board of directors and was responsible for the management of the board.

Chang Shaomin has been appointed group CEO of the company.

All new appointments and cessations are effective on Monday.
