Q&M third-quarter profit up 28% to S$3.6m
DENTAL clinic operator Q&M Dental Group reported a net profit of S$3.6 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2017, up 28 per cent from S$2.8 million a year ago.
Revenue from dental and medical clinics was down 5 per cent to S$27.6 million, due to the effects of the deconsolidation of its China dental business Aoxin from subsidiary to associate status, after it was spun off.
Excluding the effects of Aoxin, dental and medical clinics revenue was up 8 per cent year-on-year.
Q&M last traded at S$0.65.
