QT Vascular earns CE mark nod for drug-coated balloon catheter

QT Vascular has received CE mark clearance in Europe for its Chocolate Touch peripheral drug-coated balloon catheter, the medical-device maker announced on Monday after the market closed.

QT Vascular said it will begin commercial sales of the Chocolate Touch product in countries that accept the CE mark, which include markets within the European Economic Area.

Shares of QT Vascular closed at 8.6 Singapore cents on Monday, lower by 7.5 per cent or 0.7 Singapore cent.
