Repsol in final dash to stitch up gas deal in Vietnam
Singapore
SPANISH oil company Repsol is racing against the clock to seal the terms of the gas offtake from its proposed Ca Rong Do (CRD) field development with PetroVietnam, in order for the project to meet its target production start-up by 2018 or 2019.
BT understands the pricing of the gas offtake, in particular, is critical to the project sanctioning taking place in 2016, so as to allow the field development to progress according to the latest schedule.
