Retail Reits beat Q4 forecasts: Morgan Stanley

RETAIL real estate investment trusts (Reits) beat forecasts in their latest Q4 results as headwinds subsided, Morgan Stanley said in a report on Wednesday.
"With the highest percentage of earnings beats (outperformance), retail Reits largely outperformed Street expectations of deteriorating fundamentals. Shopper traffic and tenant sales swung to positive growth within CapitaMall Trust's portfolio, echoing the uptick seen in Frasers Centrepoint Trust.
