SATS' Q3 earnings up 7.4% at S$65.1m (Amended)
Singapore
GROUND-HANDLING and inflight catering service provider SATS announced on Thursday a 7.4 per cent growth in its third-quarter net profit, suggesting that the collapse of South Korea's Hanjin Shipping had helped boost the cargo market.
Net profit for the three months ended Dec 31, 2016, stood at S$65.1 million compared with S$60.6 million a year ago. Earnings per share for the quarter were 5.8 Singapore cents, up from 5.5 cents the previous year.
