It is mulling South Korea-linked futures, board lot rules as it navigates evolving industry
Singapore
THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) is looking beyond its traditional businesses even as the initial public offering (IPO) sector shows signs of recovery, chief executive Loh Boon Chye said at the market operator's annual general meeting on Thursday.
"It's important for us not just to be thinking about traditional equity, traditional IPO," Mr Loh said. "The whole value chain of fundraising, I think, is very important because companies will now choose the most efficient means - and there's an abundance of capital."
